What is good to buy at thrift stores and when should you put the blinders on?

It’s not a good idea to buy large linens that won’t fit in your washing machine – especially if they smell a little off. Antique crystal pieces could actually have some lead oxide in them, so it’s probably a good idea to steer clear of those, too!

Picture frames, tools, and wooden furniture are great, though! Wooden pieces and frames can be great projects for beginners and can add a lot of character to your home.
