New year, new paint?
If you’re feeling cooped up this winter and you’re looking for something to do, why not take on a painting project?
Here are all the official colors of the year for 2020 to give you some inspiration.
1. Pantone – Classic Blue
It certainly seems that blue is going to be a big hit this year!
Real Simple said, “As the name suggests, Pantone’s pick for COTY is a timeless shade of blue that feels both familiar and comfortable.”
Bold, beautiful, and perfect for an accent wall! This could also be a great option for an updated, modern powder room.
2. Behr – Back to Nature
Instead of bold like Pantone, Behr went with a calm nature theme.
According to Real Simple, “Back to Nature feels springy and calming—perfect for an early 2020 home update.”
This color would look great in a dining room or a hallway.
3. Benjamin Moore – First Light
Benjamin Moore’s theme for 2020 is optimism. The light pink they chose for 2020 suits this perfectly.
There are nine other colors to go along with the color of the year. Their website says, “The ten harmonious hues of the Color Trends 2020 palette, including First Light, deliver modern paint color pairings that combine optimism with understatement, a timeless way to lighten up.”
If you’re looking for whimsy, this is the palette for you! It’s perfect for larger projects since the colors all go together so well.
