Spotlight on important renovation safety

Your number one priority when renovating your home should be your safety. Recently, the news has been covering the potential for damaging your family’s lungs during a renovation if you do it yourself. 

Parade reported, “A study recently published in the journal Indoor Air found an association between decreased lung function and children who were exposed to home renovations in the previous two-year time period.”

To keep everyone safe, do plenty of research before you start. Know the dangerous chemicals in your products well and know what to look out for when you start opening up walls. 

Above all else, call a professional if you’re not sure about something you are doing. Better safe than sorry!
