Small spaces don’t mean you need to sacrifice style!
Tiny houses are a great example of this. Matt Impola told Lonny.com, “I try to have ‘spaces within the space’ by creating subtle transitions with curtains, walls, beams, floor transitions, and change in materials.”
Also, make sure your furniture fits the space. Try finding couches or chairs without arms and scale down the size according to the space available. Don’t try to take up the whole space, leave some room to breathe!
Finally, be very intentional with everything you put into a small space. If it’s not exactly what you want style-wise or it doesn’t serve an important purpose it has to go!
