How to decorate for Christmas last minute

Did you procrastinate decorating for Christmas?

It’s not too late!

Here are three last minute ideas to bring some holiday cheer to your home.

1. Window Ornaments

These are a great idea because they do double duty! They can be seen on both the inside of your house and the outside if you open up the curtains.

Better Homes and Gardens said, “Add Christmas cheer to a room by hanging paper ornaments from your windowsill. Alternating colors and patterns keeps things jolly and playful

2. Just get a small tree

Who says Christmas trees have to be big to be great?

A smaller tree can be a wonderful addition to your home.

House Beautiful said, “Little Christmas trees can actually be insanely festive if done right (and hey, the size means set-up and clean-up are a total breeze).”

3. DIY Garland

A quick trip to the craft store for pom poms and and a cord and you’re ready to DIY your own garland!

This could go on the mantel, over doors, or even around railings.

4. Bake Cookies!

Nothing says Christmas like delicious, decorated Christmas cookies!

Oregon Live said, “These frosted sugar cookies from Good Housekeeping magazine are the perfect foundation for creative decorating, dressing them up with dustings of coarse sanding sugar, colored sprinkles, sugar pearls and silver sugar balls. ”

Set them out proudly on the counter and they double as a decoration! They won’t last long without getting eaten, but it’s almost Christmas anyway!
