Sometimes the oldest trick in the book is the best one!
If you lose a small screw or washer on the floor, lay a flashlight on the ground and look for a shadow! You can make a paint brush keeper from an empty coffee can or use a a hole-punch can opener to remove caulk.
Family Handyman said, “After you finish painting, and before you close the paint can, paint a line across the label to show the paint level. That way you’ll know how much and what color paint is in the can without opening it.”
