Home decor trends to try in 2020

Home style trendsetters get ready – it’s almost 2020!

What new styles will be in demand this year?

Refinery 29 reported, “Etsy, Pinterest, and Google are three dynamos of the cyberworld. They’re in a particularly privileged position in that they see everything. They are the places where we learn about, plot, and scheme our home decor and design ambitions.”

According to Pinterest searches, thrifted home decor will be on the rise.

Ad Pro said, “Older pieces not only look great but are also an easy way to integrate sustainable products into the home.”

Other interesting Pinterest searches were indoor water fountains, garden rooms, and ocean trash art.

Family Handyman agrees with this earthy, sustainable trend. They said, “As people grow more concerned about the environment, they have turned toward sustainable design with their interior décor. That means more use of bamboo, furniture made from recycled materials and repurposed items.”

Etsy saw some different potential trends like color blocking and even chartreuse.

Color will likely see some major changes in home decor this year. Benjamin Moore’s color of 2020 is pink! They said, “The ten harmonious hues of the Color Trends 2020 palette, including First Light, deliver modern paint color pairings that combine optimism with understatement, a timeless way to lighten up.”

According to Google, the Farmstyle House is still in the lead! The other trends, however, were very different. Google searches for Spanish, Japanese, and Art Deco house styles are currently popular.

Will you try any of these trends in 2020?
