Getting your kitchen tidy

Marie Kondo is taking over the home style space with her minimalism and decluttering techniques. 

To apply her methods in your kitchen, start by purging! Get rid of items that don’t spark joy. If you don’t need something, don’t keep it! However, you should probably keep your can opener even though it doesn’t bring you immense joy. Keep what you actually need.

When putting everything back Reader’s Digest said, “It’s also helpful to store everything you’ll need for a specific task together. For example, if you brew coffee every morning, store the beans, grinder, cups and measuring scoop together, ideally close to the machine.”

Finally, use organizers for things like silverware and take anything you don’t need in the kitchen out.
