Are you overwhelmed in the Christmas light section of the store?
There are so many to choose from!
Heavy said, “There are LED lights, remote controlled lights, and even battery powered Christmas lights — enough options to satisfy any look or function. Choosing the type of Christmas light to use depends entirely on your preferences and what puts you in the spirit most.”
Here are three different styles to choose from.
LED Christmas lights are a great choice for many reasons.
Overall, they are more energy efficient, last longer, and are very bright!
DIY Network said, “LEDs last two to three times longer than incandescent bulbs. Plus, LED bulbs typically are made of lightweight plastic and less likely to break than glass incandescent bulbs.”
Icicle lights hang down in little strings that branch off of the main one.
This is a great option for those who want a little more sparkle but don’t want colored lights.
The Spruce said, “It simply wouldn’t feel like the holidays without a set of icicle lights strung along your roofline and windows. Icicle lights are a popular choice for holiday lighting as they’re easy to put up and they add a touch of sophistication to your home.”
Colored lights are still very popular despite the debate. Southern Living said, “As for colored lights, they are sparkling good fun that scream holiday party and instantly transform a room from drab into festive.”
How will you be decorating this year?
