As the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve and impact the daily lives of Canadians, the health and safety of HeyBryan customers and experts remain our highest priority. Even with things slowly re-opening across Canada, HeyBryan and its experts are as committed as ever to providing a safe and friendly experience.
We are closely monitoring this changing situation and will share updates to our service and policies here to ensure that our customers are able to get the essential help they need and that HeyBryan experts get the guidance they need to complete tasks safely during these uncertain times.
HeyBryan Remains Available
HeyBryan is here to connect people with vetted, trusted experts to help with small tasks around the home. To that end, we’re committed to keeping the platform available for customers to book experts for all services, in accordance with applicable guidance from local and federal governments.
To protect your health and safety and in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, customers can request “non-contact tasks.”
By requesting a non-contact task, customers and experts agree to maintain a safe two-meter separation – social distancing. Use the term “Non-Contact” when submitting your task request in the app. Restate this when chatting with your expert in the app.
For example, a customer can request that an expert booked to deliver essential supplies drop them off in a predetermined location at their home. Or, a customer can book an expert to cut lawns, wash windows, or collect junk, all without interacting.
Recommended Heath & Safety Practises For HeyBryan Experts
- Social / physical distancing
- Proper and frequent hand washing
- Using hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes
- Wearing gloves and a mask if asked
- Don’t accept tasks if you are feeling unwell
- Minimize customer contact at all costs
Follow Local Regulations
Guidance from various government entities is changing rapidly as the situation evolves and knowledge about the virus increases. We ask that all HeyBryan users keep apprised of the recommendations from relevant authorities in your location and neither submit nor accept job requests that are in violation of local, provincial, or federal guidance.
